On 9/8/2016, The engine was dispatched to the 4400 block of 38th street for a house on fire. The engine arrived to find a 2 story home with smoke showing from the second floor. The crew stretched a line in the front door. Once the crew got to the second floor the found the fire in a closet with extension to the attic space. The engine put the viable fire out while truck 1 vented the roof. Once truck 1 opened the roof they found minor extension and pushed the remaining fire to the engine company to extinguish. Good job by all companies! ... See MoreSee Less
